Corwalch

“Corwalch”

“Corwalch” Ilia Volk, Marc Boermans

With this expressive dance project, Lansdale has achieved a mystical and powerfully exotic version of the Arthur - Sage. The ensemble's portrayal of the work is very strong, not only in the group passages but for all in the solo roles.
The public were from beginning to the end fascinated... “Corwalch”, is a well rounded work, that may surprise a few ardent ballet fans, but that is good, as something must happen in the ballet scene. The enthusiasm of the younger generation in the audience should give one courage.

Siegfried Lambert, Saarländischer Rundfunk

There is much to admire in the often oriental, inventive group dances, choreographed by Lansdale. Not only virtuoso effects but one sees how thoughtfully he has worked with his use of the whole stage. The movements and poses are not only precisely performed, but also harmonically executed by the company are splendidly together, and the musical choreography passes exactly to the rhythmic beating of the percussion instruments.
