Philip Lansdale’s intensive melancholic piece, of a society imprisoned within strict rules, the death of a love, the decline of an indebted household, at the Fin de siècle, transverses all the virtuoso dancing. Without using any superficial folklore, the infatuating, tastefully sensuous choreography is underscored, with a gorgeous smoke screened elegance and intoxicating Spanish music. Thunderous Applause!
