Fascinating dance theatre, between poetry and power, drawing sometimes humorous figures, sometimes poetical figures. Lansdale sets the story of the bad mood child, who refuses to do his homework and instead vandalizes his pets and household objects, with simple choreographic dance pictures. The premiere public followed this extremely contrasting double bill with enthusiasm, and the spirit of this extravagant evening, was an inspiration for the dancers, which produced an excellent performance from the ensemble. Eckhard Britsch, Neue Westfälische Petra Straß’s colorful, voluptuous sets and costumes, is inspired by a child's fantasy - from Monet’s water lilies as wallpaper, to cute frogs and bats, that complements Lansdale’s choreography, which is as if he has dug deep down inside himself and let the child out.
